STUDIO POLICIES

STUDIO POLICIES

Attendance Policy :

At Avi's Dance Project, we emphasize the importance of consistent attendance to foster a strong work ethic and ensure the best training outcomes for each dancer. Attendance is monitored monthly.

Late Arrivals: Dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to join the class, regardless of the reason. This rule is strictly enforced to minimize disruptions. However, dancers may make up the missed class.

Make-Up Policy :

Classes missed due to studio closures, illness, or excused reasons may be made up within 1 month. Dancers must be enrolled in the same number of classes during the missed month to qualify for make-ups. Make-ups cannot be used for dropped classes.

Drop Procedure :

Avi's Dance Project requires a1 MONTH IN ADVANCE CANCELLATION NOTICE. Parents or guardians must submit drop requests online to danceadp@gmail.com before the 1st of the month. Requests made on or after the 1st will not be processed for that billing cycle, and no refunds will be issued. For example, a request for April must be received before March 1st. Only emailed requests are accepted; verbal requests are not valid.

Parents are responsible for payment of their student’s classes/camps until an official drop request is submitted via email. If a student stops attending without a drop request, their account will continue to be charged. No refunds are provided.

Etiquette :

Students should arrive on time and in proper attire. Repeated tardiness may result in a class change.

Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class.

Dancers are expected to act respectfully. Instructors may ask disruptive dancers to leave the class and wait in the lobby under staff supervision. ADP reserves the right to discontinue instruction for dancers displaying unacceptable behavior.

Additional Notes:

Water:

Dancers are asked to bring their own water to class. If a student forgets, water will be available for a $1 fee, which will be charged to the dancer's account.

Proper Attire:

Dancers must wear appropriate dance attire and footwear for each class. This ensures safety and allows for full movement. Students not in proper attire may not be allowed to participate in class. To see Class dress code please Click Here

Personal Belongings:

All personal items should be labeled with the student's name. Avi's Dance Project is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We encourage dancers to leave valuables at home.

Food and Snacks:

No food or snacks are allowed in the dance studio rooms. Dancers may eat in designated areas only. Please ensure all snacks are nut-free to accommodate students with allergies.

Cell Phones and Electronics:

Cell phones and other electronic devices must be turned off or set to silent mode during class times. These devices should remain in the dancer's bag and not be used during class.

DRESS CODE

ADP Dress Code Policy :

Avi's Dance Project will strictly enforce our dress code. Dancers are required to have the specified shoes, tights, and leotard.

To ensure all dancers adhere to the dress code, a notice will be sent home for families whose children are not in compliance. This policy is in place to help our dancers succeed in their chosen genres by promoting a professional and uniform appearance.

Teachers have the discretion to ask dancers who are not in proper dress code to sit out of class. This is not intended as a punishment but as an opportunity for the student to observe and learn. We believe that maintaining a supportive and constructive learning environment is essential for our students' growth, and this policy is a part of that commitment.
